About the Navajo Nation Student Success Portal
It is the educational mission of the Navajo Nation to promote and foster lifelong learning for the Navajo People, and to protect the cultural integrity and Sovereignty of the Navajo Nation. With support from the National Indian Education Association and funding from the US Department of Education Office of Secondary Elementary Education, we are able to provide the direct services and ongoing assessment needed to achieve that mission.
In October 2020, the National Indian Education Association (NIEA) received a grant from the Department of Education Office of Elementary and Secondary Education Accessing Choice in Education (ACE) Demonstration Grant for Indian Children and Youth. This grant titled, “Supporting Student Success in Navajo Nation,” is a five (5) year grant which will provide direct services to students; Year 1 is a planning year. Students and families will be able to choose from six (6) different direct services.
The Supporting Student Success in Navajo Nation Portal is funded by a grant from the United States Department of Education Office of Secondary Elementary Education.
